Ronald K. Miyamoto

Ron Miyamoto is the principal attorney of Miyamoto Law. He was a founding partner of West & Miyamoto, a prestigious law firm started in 1985 in Ventura County, until its dissolution in 2012. Mr. Miyamoto started Miyamoto Law to continue to provide his clients with superior legal counsel. He has been a civil trial litigator for over 30 years and has practiced extensively in most areas of civil litigation with emphasis on personal injury, insurance defense, marital dissolution, business and employment law.

Mr. Miyamoto was the trial and appellate counsel in the landmark employment law case of Kelly-Zurian v. Wohl Shoe Co. (1994) 22Cal.App.4th 397. He was also the prevailing attorney in another well-known California appellate case involving tort liability.

Mr. Miyamoto has been an arbitrator for the Ventura County Superior Court for over 15 years and is an active member of the Ventura County Bar Association. Mr. Miyamoto is a highly competitive and aggressive trial attorney. The competitive spirit is also reflected in his many leisure activities, including being an avid downhill skier and ice hockey player.
